Eataly for Expo 2015

The Eataly for Expo area is dedicated to Italian biodiversity that arises from the wonderful sea that surrounds us and and the unique winds of our mountains, hills and seaside, which make our country a unique place in the world.

The agricultural and food diversity, landscapes, the many faces of the Italian people and the artistic beauty are the themes that Eataly will narrate at Expo.

To narrate the agricultural and food biodiversity, Eataly is hosting Regional Restaurants, in which moth by month a different restaurateur will present new dishes and traditions its region.

The installations by the students of the University of Gastronomic Sciences from Pollenzo showcase the diversity of the Italian landscape, from the Alps to the Po, crossing lakes, hills, volcanoes and glaciers.

The photographs of Simona Pampallona and director Alice Rohrwacher, accompanied by the words of the Holden School, showcase the character of Italians and their habits.

And last but not least, the exhibition “The treasure of Italy”, curated by Vittorio Sgarbi, brings to Expo more than 100 works of art, to discover the great Italian artists and their territory.

Inside our Eataly for Expo area there are also some of the best promoters of Italian excellence: Rossopomodoro with their pizza, the Maioli Brothers with authentic piadina, Ferrari with “Spazio Bollicine” dedicated to sparking wine, Nutella with its Concept Bar and the “Italia del Gusto” restaurant.

Moreover, in a dedicated space, our guests will be able to discover four Italian products with worldwide recognition and appreciation: Grana Padano, Prosciutto di San Daniele, Mortadella Classica di Bologna and the Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore.

Finally, to express the wonders of our country, seven different corners to promote the beauty of the Italian territory: the most beautiful villages in Italy, the Mantua territory, the regions of Sardinia and Campania, Alba – Bra Langhe and Roero, as well as Urbani Truffles.

For visitors who choose to visit Eataly at Expo, it will be like taking a fascinating journey of discovery of Italy, discovering and learning about the biodiversity that characterizes our country.
